Day 1: Arrival
Welcome to the beautiful ancient city of Fenghuang (凤凰)! Upon your arrival, check-in to your hotel and take a moment to relax.
In the afternoon, head to the Tuojiang River (沱江) to experience the traditional water town of Fenghuang. Take a leisurely stroll along the river and admire the traditional wooden houses that line the riverbank.
Don't forget to try some local snacks and delicacies while exploring the town. The most famous ones are "stinky tofu" (臭豆腐), "oil tea" (油茶) and "rice noodle" (米粉).
Day 2: Exploring the Ancient City
Today is all about exploring the ancient city of Fenghuang. Be prepared to spend the whole day here!
Start your day by visiting the Phoenix Square (凤凰广场), the center of the ancient city. From here, you can admire the beautiful architecture and take in the lively atmosphere.
Next, head to the Hongqiao Art District (红桥艺术区) to experience the local art scene. Wander through the galleries and shops, and perhaps even pick up a traditional piece of artwork to take home.
For lunch, try some of 常德有哪些景点 the local cuisine at one of the many restaurants in the city. A popular dish is the "three pots of meat" (三炒).
Spend the afternoon exploring the many ancient alleys and lanes of Fenghuang. Each one has a unique story and charm. Don't miss the Wanshou Palace (万寿宫), which is a well-preserved palace that was built for Emperor Qianlong's 60th birthday.
End your day by taking a boat ride along the Tuojiang River at night. The ancient city is beautifully illuminated, and the reflections on the water are a memorable sight.
Day 3: Scenic Spots outside of Fenghuang
On your last day in Fenghuang, take a day trip to some of the scenic spots outside the ancient city.
First, head to the Miao Village (苗族村寨) to experience the local culture of the Miao ethnic minority. Here, you can see traditional 顺德游玩景点 Miao architecture and enjoy cultural performances.
Next, visit the Xiangxi Rafting Site (湘西漂流景区) to experience the thrill of drifting down a river. The scenery along the way is breathtaking.
Finally, end your day by visiting the Aizhai Bridge (矮寨大桥), one of the highest suspension bridges in the world. The view from the bridge is spectacular, and it's a great spot for taking photos.
After your day trip, return to Fenghuang for one last evening in the ancient city.
